Ged has over 30 years’ experience of working within the Criminal Justice System.

At 19 years of age, he started as a Crown Court Registry clerk working 7 years in the Civil Service gaining promotion to a Crown Court caseworker.

Ged left to start a career in a leading Noth West High Street firm of Solicitors at Canter Levin & Berg(CLB). Ged has worked from all four offices of CLB in Liverpool, Kirkby, St Helens and Skelmersdale.

Ged quickly became Police Station accredited and has covered numerous police station investigations across the length and breadth of England and Wales covering cases in courts as far south as Bournemouth to as far north as Carlisle.

In 2011 having studied part time Ged qualified as a solicitor and higher court advocate. Ged has appeared in various Magistrates and Crown Courts representing his clients ever since.

Ged has represented many clients in high profile cases which have included murder cases, serious drugs cases and very high costed fraud cases, countrywide.

During his legal career Ged has been involved in cases involving legal issues that he had raised at the police station and at court, which have resulted in such cases appearing at the Criminal Appeal Court in London and in the House of Lords when his legal team successfully appealed a point of general importance in respect of the firearms act. in a case in his capacity as a solicitor at Canters Crime Ged was involved in a lengthy multi defendant murder case which resulted in the client being acquitted of murder as a result off a submission of no case to answer at the conclusion of the of the Prosecution case. Despite a Prosecution appeal the decision was subsequently upheld in the Criminal Court of Appeal.

Ged will represent his client’s needs at the Police Stations, Magistrates Court, and Crown Court and has been commended regularly in our feedback questionnaires for his attention to detail and his client care.

Ged became a director of the company in 2019.
